"How Much For The Cheetos & Water?"

First off, I want to thank everyone that helped with my 1-day blog test. If you have no clue what I’m talking about stop reading this post and feast your eyes on this one ~> Another Blog Post! Once finished then come back here…go ahead, I’ll wait!

Read it? Great! What did you think? Well hey, I’ll let you in on a secret-I didn’t write it. Artificial intelligence did all the work for me. Yep that’s right, an AI “bot“ named “Jarvis” took minimal input from myself and created this post on“Authenticity” (which I hope the irony isn’t lost on you-a post on the health benefits of living authentically written by unauthentic means). Jarvis didn’t do too bad of a job, just not what was expected. (I didn’t see any impact on SEO or increased traffic, so this does not get an upvote from me, although it may work for you if you are really desperate for content and under a time crunch.) Give Jarvis a try HERE.

Now, having said all that, I must admit the concept of why authenticity promotes better health intrigues me. Authenticity as a whole is an ideal we should all strive for. After all, if we are putting on a front to be accepted by another person or a group it is inevitable that the charade will end. Those that we are trying to impress will discover the real person and will probably be disappointed that they have been deceived, which is ironic. The reason people put up fake fronts is to be accepted, and it is those very same fake fronts that will more than likely make them unaccepted.

Living true to oneself means you don’t have to worry about ver being “discovered” for being something you’re not, because you will always be you. If a certain person or group does not accept you for who you are then you’ve just saved a lot of time and effort that would have gone in to try and “please” them to fit in and be accepted by them. Life is too short to hide your true self from the world.

The title comes from a line in Magic Mike XXL. A dancer that has a firefighter routine is challenged to do something else, something more authentic and genuine. When he doubts he can, the other dancers encourage him to dance in front of a gas station attendant telling him if he can’t put a smile on her face then no one can.

He does a routine that’s genuine to him and she smiles.
