Being Authentic is Healthier for You!

It's hard to be yourself all the time. You have to take care of other people, think about what they're going to do and say next, worry about how you come off in their eyes. Sometimes it seems easier just to put on a show for everyone else - but at what cost? Being authentic is not only healthier for your mental health, but also helps you get more out of life by being true to who you are.

Here are some tips on how you can live authentically every day!

1. Be honest with yourself about what you want out of life

2. Speak your truth to others without fear or anxiety

3. Accept that it's okay if people don't like you for who you are

4. Don't be afraid to speak up when something doesn't feel right

5. When faced with a dilemma, think about the consequences before making any big decisions

6. Focus on what is important and let go of anything that isn't holding you back from being happy

If you’re not living authentically, then what are you doing? Life is short and the only thing that matters is your happiness. You deserve to live life without fear or regrets of who you could have been if you had followed your heart. What does it look like for me to live authentically? I try and speak my mind even when it's something people don't want to hear; I keep trying new things despite how hard they seem because some day one will stick. When someone tells me no, this doesn't mean stop—it means try harder. And maybe most importantly, I am always myself with everyone--even strangers on the street!

Drop me a comment on how YOU live authentically and without fear.
